Cosmetic tattoo gives natural looking hair like strokes and shading to the brow area regardless of the amount of natural hair present. The pigments are formulated to blend and match your natural coloring. These methods last 1-3 years.

The treatment is usually a two stage process at least 8 weeks apart, the second appointment is essential, a combined price will be quoted.

The initial appointment takes 3-4 hours, during which we design, choose color and the treatment area is pre-drawn for you to agree upon.

Machine Nano Brows is an advanced technique and allows true artistry to be expressed. It is also less invasive than Microblading and therefore more desirable especially for delicate skin types and oily skin. The technique applied will be decided by the artist based on your skin type and design focus.

The results vary for each individual as we all heal differently. The color will fade during healing, the look of the brows in the first 10 days is not an indication of the final result. In the essential second session any irregularities are addressed and the look is finalized.

Occasionally a third or fourth visit is necessary depending on the client, the amount of brow re-construction needed etc. This is not uncommon and will be discussed in the initial consultation if foreseen.

Eyebrow shapes that do not suit the clients face or colors that do not work with the undertone of the skin will not be entertained irrespective of client pressure.

The pigment is permanent; the hair strokes will begin to noticeably fade after 12-14 months. To keep the look fresh a touch up is advisable every 12-14 months. More frequent touch ups may be required for individuals who are very active, required a lighter pigment or if the aftercare was not followed. It is perfectly fine to use brow pencils or powders on healed brows while waiting for a touch up.

As techniques, products and clients desired looks evolve it may be necessary for a lightening session at a reputable tattoo removal clinic after year 2 or 3 if the existing work does not allow scope for the new design to be worked in over top.

If you have existing work from another artist please send images to me prior to booking. Color corrections are an option if the remaining pigment is muted and not overly saturated otherwise removal may be advised - this will be decided on a case by case basis.

Many factors affect retention including hormones and skin health and the retention is not 100% predictable or guaranteed. Cosmetic tattoo is considered permanent because the pigment is implanted into the upper reticular part of the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, the pigment particles are much smaller and less saturated than a body tattoo and so it is metabolized and fades over time. A shadow will always remain even if subsequent annual treatments are not performed.
